Enhanced Cleaning

Enhanced cleaning procedures have been employed to ensure surfaces and primary touchpoints are disinfected after each patient and at the end of each day. The center has been cleaned using cleaners approved by the CDC as protective to Coronavirus (Sars-Cov-2). Each appointment will be scheduled with a 15 minutes delay after the appointment prior to prevent to permit a thorough disinfection. Between each appointment, rooms will be thoroughly disinfected, sheets will be discarded, and all hard surfaces will be cleaned. For the time being, disposable table covers/sheets will be made. Emily sanitizes her hands before, during, and after each patient interaction and has made hand sanitizer available for each patient.

Patient Screening

Emily asks that any current patient experiencing symptoms of COVID (shortness of breath, fever, cough) to contact Emily to receive care through her virtual services, and reschedule/cancel their appointment. The cancellation fee will be waived in these cases. All healthy patients with scheduled appointments will be screened for COVID symptoms 24 hours prior to their in-office appointment. Anyone coming into the center will be required to sign a health declaration and have their temperature taken. If their temperature is 100 or more degrees, they will be asked to leave, and reschedule. We are also conducting initial consultations for new patients virtually, to minimize your time spent in the center. In addition, for medical reasons, we ask that no guests accompany patients to their appointments unless previously approved.

Personal Protective Equipment

As practitioner, Emily will wear a surgical mask at all times, gloves, and newly laundered clothing in the center. All patients will be required to wear a face mask at all times during the entirety of their appointment. Payments will be made via PayPal or Zelle, no checks or cash will be accepted at this time. Additionally, patients will be seen one at a time, with no overlap. Further, each appointment will be scheduled with a 15 minutes delay after the appointment prior to prevent patient interaction in the waiting room.
